Update! First I want to thank everyone for their prayers, thoughts and concern since my husband entered the hospital.  He is still in the hospital, going on three weeks now.  He was going to be released last week when they noticed his lungs started to collapse so wanted to keep him until this week.  Hopefully he will be coming home this week!  He is up and walking, on a regular diet and counting the days until he goes home.

He will still have a long road ahead of him, with another surgery in about six months.  Please continue to keep our family in your prayers and thoughts.  Thank you & God Bless! xoxoxo

Disney on Ice

**Disclosure:  No compensation was received.  Our family was given four tickets to experience the show opening day in our home city.  The opinion below is of my own along with the information provided by US Family Guide.

I love Disney!  I mean, who doesn't right?!  Even though most years our family is provided tickets at no charge, our family has made a tradition to go every year as a family.  This year, since my husband was in the hospital, I had my daughter invite one of her friends and we had a blast!  The hosts of the show our Disney's very own Minnie and Mickey Mouse and no matter what age you are, those two always seem to melt your heart and bring back memories!  Because of the lighting, it was a bit hard to snap some good pics from my phone.  I was able to get this one below, recognize it?  See the background?  Yep, that is The Small World!  That is def a must ride every time we go to Disneyland, it just always seems to give you a warm fuzzy feeling.

The show was about an hour and a half, the kids thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the girls, who were signing away to all their favorite songs.  Disney on Ice is celebrating 100 years of magic, with performances from Pinocchio, Beauty and the Beat, Mulan, The Lion King, Mickey Mouse Club and many more! There was one part, that while The Incredibles were out, they had introduced each family member and when it was the Dad's turn, the song "I'm too sexy" started playing and the character was dancing too it moving his body like he was so sexy.  Now while I understand it was all in good clean fun, the majority of the kids in the audience are toddlers up to 8 / 9 years old.   "Sexy" is really not a word I would want my young children saying or even mimicking the song while trying to dance all "sexy".  But to all it's own, and all in all, it is a really great show which we will continue to make a tradition in our family yearly!

Update

Well as you all know from my post a few days ago, my husband was hospitalized a week ago today.   He is still battling this infection which has seemed to create a shell & not letting any med's get to it according to the Dr.  We will be doing another CT Scan on Sunday and if still no change, then Monday he will have to have surgery.  Please keep our family in your thoughts & prayers.  This has taken a toll our on family in more ways than one - please pray for his health, strength for myself & for our finances during this difficult time.  Thank you all for your support & love!!  xoxoxo

Scott Towels

**Disclosure: This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group and Scott Brand, but all my opinions are of my own.  #pmedia #Scottvalue http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV

Can you guess what that is in the picture?  Yes, every Mom's worst nightmare!  That is the kids school laptop with water that my daughter had split on it! Ohh, yes, I was pretty upset - how many times have I told them not to put their cups on the table.  I quickly ran to the kitchen to grab the towel & of course that was not there either, so grabbed a paper towel, yes, I said "a" paper towel - just one.  Luckily I caught the water before it seeped down the side and through the cracks of the computer, the paper towel absorbed the water faster than any towel would have!

Having two young children and a large dog that likes to swing his tail around quit often while knocking things over, Scott Towels definitely comes in hand.  I don't have to worry about having rags on hand or washing dirty rags, I can just clean, toss and move on!  There are so many different ways that Scott Towels come in hand.   I enjoy using them to clean with as well - one swipe and I'm done!  Especially in the microwave, there's really no room for a large rag, so using a paper towel to just wipe and toss really works out great.

My husband will tell you I am big on saving money!  I will never pay full price for anything, always looking for a good deal and take advantage of every shopper program out there.  Kmart's Shop Your Way rewards program is a great way to save when shopping at Kmart.  While shopping at Kmart for my Scott products, check out Kmart's Shop Your Way Rewards for great coupon offers on Scott Tissue products this week!   While supplies last, you can grab this coupon as well here.  This offer is valid only until April 26th, so hurry!

I've personally used many different types of Scott products.  While I still try and save money where I can, there are some things that I stick to - paper products being one of them.   I buy paper products for a reason - to get the job done quickly and toss - that's it.  It has to be sturdy and get the job done.  It's just not one of those things you can buy cheaply as you'll just end up using more and going through it more quickly.   Scott Products are Mom Approved in my book!
