Las Vegas is Attracting more Families

When you think of Las Vegas, you automatically think of adult fun.  While it still may be the adult capitol of the world, it is now making itself more family friendly, attracting more families than ever.  With the economy slowly coming around, now may be the perfect time to make that move!  Spring is in the air, the sun is out and the lights are shining! Below are four new family attractions that have popped up here in Vegas and ready to entertain your family while helping you keep cool this summer.

The Linq – (Pictured left) This just opened last week and will take you soaring to the top of Las Vegas!  This is the world’s largest observation wheel, standing at 550 feet above the glittering Las Vegas Strip.  It takes 30 minutes to make it all the way around and each cabin holds up to 40 people!

The Container Park – This is a new area in Downtown Vegas where during the day it’s a child’s playground and after 9pm it’s only 21 and over.  The Container Park, is just that – a playground full of containers where children and adults can let their creativity run free.  There is a treehouse with a 33ft. slide as well as a wet zone.  Plenty of shops and restaurants surround the Container Park.

Wet & Wild Water Park – (Pictured left) This is Nevada’s largest water park with over 25 slides and attractions.  With the high summer temperatures we have here in Vegas, this is a great place to cool off and enjoy some fun with the family, away from the Las Vegas “adult scene”.

Cowabunga Water Park – Opening next month, will feature water slides such as the Zuma Zooma, The Wild Surf and Good Vibrations.  A perfect way to cool off during the hot summers here in Vegas.  This water park is located on the opposite side of town than Wet ‘n’ Wild is, so no matter which side of town you are on, it’s a quick drive to some summer relief with the family!

In closing, there is no better time to move to Las Vegas with the family in tow.  Without a doubt, Las Vegas is no longer an adult only city, but quickly becoming a playground for families.     We have year round beautiful weather, we are a 24/7 city, our neighboring states are not far for a family vacation and there are so many family friendly options here in Vegas!  And on top of all that, the economy is on the brink of getting back to where it needs to be!
