I know this does not come out until November.....but I had to share!  I had these little guys growing up! These were pretty popular back in the day and it looks like they will be making a big come back! To get ready for DreamWorks Animation and 20th Century Fox's new hair-raising adventure TROLLS, Justin Timberlake, Anna Kendrick, Gwen Stefani, James Croden, Russell Brand, Icona Pop, Ron Funches and Kunai Kunal Nayaar have all taken to Twitter to reveal their characters! Check out their tweets below to get your first look at the Troll characters before their motion picture debut on November 4th!  Exciting!  It's always fun to see your own children get excited about the same things you did growing up!

Sprocket Bar and Restaurant, located inside Whole Foods Market Henderson in The District starts the year off with a new seasonal menu.  Open daily from 12 p.m. – 9 p.m., the bar features a wide selection of beer, wine and a seasonal menu with something for everyone.

From green chile braised short ribs (yum!) and a porchetta sandwich to cauliflower nachos and roasted beet dip, the menu includes expanded vegan and vegetarian dishes like a citrus and avocado salad, grilled vegetable tamale and a roasted mushroom flatbread featuring nut-based, Kite Hill chive artisanal spread.
Sprocket features a wide selection of beer and wine including:
  • 24 beers on tap featuring local, limited release and seasonal selections
  • Local brews from Joseph James, Tenaya Creek, Bangar Brewing, Big Dogs and CraftHouse
  • Wines in a range of price points, featuring $5 a glass wines from local Pahrump Valley Winery   
  • Refillable craft beer growlers
The bar and restaurant offers daily specials and a happy hour Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. with wine, beer and food for $7 or less. Plan ahead this holiday season – Buzzed Driving is Drunk Driving



The holidays are a time to celebrate with friends and family. But it’s also a time to make sure you are keeping the ones you love safe. Whether you’re at a holiday gathering or a New Year’s Eve bash, many of our social plans involve driving.

According to the National Safety Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) the period between Christmas and New Year’s typically has one of the highest rates of impaired driving fatalities.

Fatalities related to drunk driving are 100 percent preventable and the spike in buzzed driving around the holidays is especially alarming.

Some stats:
  • In 2014, 9,967 people were killed in alcohol-impaired driving crashes. These alcohol-impaired fatalities accounted for more 31% of the total motor vehicle traffic facilities in the United States.
  • Alcohol-impaired drivers were involved in 37% of traffic fatalities during the Christmas holiday period and 44% of traffic fatalities over New Year’s – making the winter holiday seasons one of the deadliest times to be on the road.
  • Buzzed driving can cost around $10,000 in fines, legal fees and increased insurance rates.
