This month marks the 40th Anniversary (wow!) of the first Ronald McDonald House and to celebrate we are asking you to do some digging with us. Dig in your purse, in your pant pockets, or in your couch and find all those pennies, nickels, and dimes lying around. Then head to your local McDonald’s and drop your change in a Donation Box at the counter or at the drive-thru. When living in California, I had the opportunity to tour a Ronald McDonald Home. It was very heart wrenching and inspiring to say the least. If you really are unsure at what goes on at one of their homes, I encourage you to stop by and take a look or even better, volunteer sometime at the house.
