Tapple! Our new family favorite game! This game really does rock! USAopoly had sent us this game to review. I have to admit, it did not look to appealing in the beginning, so it did sit on the shelf for a bit. I tell you, we were sure missing out - this game is SO much fun! Tapple is a fast paced word game that makes you think on the fly. It includes a timer so you only have a certain amount of time to come up with an answer or you're out! Here's how it works -
Choose a category
card and start the timer on the Tapple wheel. In just 10 seconds, name a
word matching the category, press the first letter of that word on the
wheel, tap the button to reset the timer, and pass it along. Letters
already pressed may not be used again, so the pressure mounts! Can’t
think of a word in time, you’re out for the round. The player that
collects the most cards wins! They have an easy list of categories and a harder list to challenge you a bit. Since we were playing with our younger children, we decided to stick with the easy list. For example - it will give you the subject of Fruit. Then, one by one you have to go around naming a fruit that starts with the available letters. If you can't think of anything in the allotted time, you're out!
