Online School Solutions

Have you ever thought about home schooling? This is something I have been struggling with for the past few months. I am not happy with the schools in our area and with all the budget issues on top of that our children are the ones who are suffering the most. I have been doing alot of researching online to find out more about home schooling and the options available.

KC Distance Learning offers online learning options to fit all types of students and learning situations. From the home-schooled family, the student brushing up on skills to compete at the next level or the child facing challenges in traditional schools such as bullying, KCDL provides academic solutions to fit your child's needs.

After choosing my state there was one school site that was offered - Keystone. Keystone is a flexible online high school and middle school program that prepares students for college and career success. You can either choose to enroll full-time and earn an accredited online high school diploma or part-time to supplement a traditional school or home school curriculum. There are over 120 online high school and middle school courses. Keystone's online courses are supported by certified teachers with online high school and middle school teaching experience. Keystone students have the flexibility to study at the pace and place that work for them and their families.

Taking classes online is one way to give middle and high school students new options to learn using preferred tools in a familiar environment, and even experience enhanced, one-on-one relationships with educators. Whether they're in need of more assistance, looking for wider range of classes or simply prefer to learn in a medium that they have grown up with, online learning can be a great way to fit your child's needs.

I have not personally tried the program out - so cannot offer a review or opinion of the program. I can say it is an option. If you are thinking about home schooling or ever have this would be a great site to look at and possibly get more information.
