Life - on DVD

I have been thinking about home schooling my children this coming school year because of our unhappiness with the schools. I often think about what products I would use to help them learn and take in as much information as possible. I love movies such a Life! Children seem to be so fascinated with these kind of movies - which as a Mom I think is great, I would much rather have them watch something like this than SpongeBob or some violent show on TV. My husband and I even find our selves fascinated by the facts and always end up learning something. The only thing that seemed to bother my husband as well as myself was Oprah. I don't have anything against her personally and I am not saying she was awful narrating this, but it just did not seem a good fit, especially to my husband. I think I would have liked to see a few narrators, instead of just one. My kids of course could not tell who was narrating, but I don't think they cared either - they were more interested in the stories and adventure. Just take a look at the clip below -
