Sleep? What? Did you say Sleep? What is that?

Our mattress is only, wait, I was going to say a year old, but now that I actually think about it, it's about to turn two soon. Only two?? And it squeaks this much?? And is this uncomfortable?? This has really been bothering me! We have a lot going on right now and I need my sleep. I have four children, one going into Kindergarten, my baby boy going into a grade 1st grade, my oldest son going into his last year of Jr. High, and my oldest daughter is OK with me as she is going into fifth. They will all start school on Monday. We have been dealing with a family member's unsuspected news of cancer, my own health issues, and whew!! I am just worn out!

Can I please just get a good nights sleep? You think? I am just mom, right, the one that runs the household, the bad guy that disciplines, who cooks, cleans, makes sure all the bills get paid, runs errands, shops, keeps the house organized, wakes up at the crack of dawn, and well.....should I stop? I think I go to bed at a decent time, I lay down and hope that that will be the night I will get a good nights sleep and if I am lucky even a few extra minutes of sleep. A good night's sleep for me means no tossing and turning, no getting up every other hour, and peace! Be able to take a deep breath, close my eyes and slip into a deep peaceful sleep. HA!

I tried flipping the mattress over the other day and discovered that it can't be flipped over! My husband starting laughing at me, then I thought....is it him? Is he the reason I can't sleep! LOL! So I ripped off the sheets, stood there and stared at the mattress for a bit. You can definitely tell that I sleep on one side, and my husband the other. There are two creases! LOL So what do we do? Maybe we did not investigate enough when buying a new mattress. Is one really better than the other, and which one is the best for us hard working, non-paid mothers? I will be looking into this as we search out a new mattress!! Stay posted for a follow up
